On a bright spring day, we visited Haewoojae Museum in Suwon, Korea, a place unlike any other! This museum, also known as the Toilet Culture Museum, is dedicated to the history, design, and cultural significance of toilets worldwide. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a fun and educational experience, especially for kids!
Haewoojae means "a place to relieve oneself in peace", and the museum does a fantastic job of explaining the evolution of toilets, hygiene practices, and the impact of sanitation on human history in an engaging way.
